Stuart Vevers's Coach held its Spring 2019 collection show in New York on September 11th (early morning of September 12th, Japan time). This season, Coach reimagined the craft and spirit of the American look. The theme of the show was a new "New Romantic Gangster," tracing and rescuing abandoned treasures left behind by young people who crossed the endless American prairies in pursuit of their dreams. The collection also featured American pop culture icons Dumbo and Bambi in its ongoing collaboration with Disney. The front row included brand ambassador Selena Gomez, Japanese actor Takumi Kitamura, and Jisoo and Rosé of the Korean girl group BLACKPINK, both hugely popular in Japan. The runway was also graced by notable It model Kaia Gerber, Japanese model Kohei, who achieved a remarkable feat by appearing in the most number of Fall/Winter 2018-19 men's shows, and surprise brand ambassador Kiko Mizuhara.
