SUQQU will be releasing a limited edition of seven items from the "SUQQU 15th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION" to commemorate the brand's 15th anniversary on September 7th. The "SUQQU 15th ANNIVERSARY POP UP EVENT "Beauty Impact" will be held at SO-CAL LINK GALLERY in Omotesando from September 7th to 9th.


The anniversary collection was conceived in collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, who has been involved with the brand's designs since its inception, in order to address women's ever-changing aesthetic sense and continue to evolve. An eye and cheek compact and mini lipstick have been created with the theme of "The Shock of Beauty." The SUQQU 2018 15th Anniversary Color Compact (7,000 yen) is a vibrant eye and cheek compact that offers stunning three-dimensionality and astonishing vividness, all dyed in matching hues. It comes in two shades, orange and pink, that can be used individually. The passion tangerine "101 Shakunetsushu," with its orange-to-red color palette, not only exudes a vibrant, healthy femininity, but also creates a sophisticated, masculine look with its delicate three-dimensional effect created when layered. The spicy pink "102 Genshibireni," with its burgundy-to-pink palette, tends to lean toward a sweet, feminine look, but layering the shades of each creates a sophisticated, dry pink. Each shade is composed of three eye colors and one cheek color that are completely matching. Layering similar shades with different formulas, textures, and color payoffs creates depth in the saturation, creating a glossy, eye-catching, three-dimensional effect without being at all outlandish.

From September 7th to 9th, the limited-time event "SUQQU 15th ANNIVERSARY POP UP EVENT “Beauty Impact”" will be held at SO-CAL LINK GALLERY in Omotesando. All visitors will also receive a special sample set. Conceived under the concept of "the shock of beauty," this event will feature a space reminiscent of a contemporary art installation. With vertically-oriented multi-monitors neatly arranged and multiple interactive videos playing, visitors will be immersed in a surreal space, experiencing both the origins and future of SUQQU, celebrating its 15th anniversary, while enjoying intellectual stimulation. There will also be a booth offering a hands-on experience of SUQQU's signature "facial muscle massage." Advance reservations are required for lessons, which will include a lesson recording and video streaming service using MemoMi Labs Inc.'s digital mirror, the first of its kind in the cosmetics industry in Japan. By recording the lesson and transferring it to your smartphone, you can save the video file and share it on social media. You can then review the lesson video at home, easily practicing the massage process. Other planned events include makeup demonstrations and facial muscle massage seminars.
