Etro's new iconic bag, the Love Trotter, designed by Marco de Vincenzo, is here. Four small sizes will be sold by lottery.

"Etro was founded in 1968 as a textile company, and its ties to textiles run deep. On June 6, 2022, I visited the Maison's archives for the first time. It was a place filled with Made in Italy history and inspiration, and 11 discarded pieces of fabric in particular captured my imagination and inspired me to create a special upcycling project. This is how the Love Trotter bag collection was born. This limited edition bag collection, crafted from upcycled fabric scraps and recycled plastic, is my first homage to Etro's history and sustainability."

These are the words of Marco De Vincenzo, Etro's new Creative Director.

The Lovetrotter collection will be unveiled on September 23, 2022, in his first fashion show, presented in exclusive collaboration with ETRO.com and Mytheresa.com.

Entirely handmade in Italy, the new tote bag combines archive fabrics from the Etro Home Collection with logo-engraved colored handles made from recycled plastic, and is accented with leather trim, antiqued hardware, a striped jacquard lining and the iconic Pegasus embroidered in a three-dimensional style.

Love Trotter is available in 11 different large and small sizes, with a limited production of 200 units worldwide, each with a serial number. In Japan, four small sizes will be sold by lottery. They will be delivered in special wrapping, in a paisley-patterned recycled paper box tied with recycled ribbon.
