Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Nagoya Minato Aquls will hold its grand opening on September 28th. This marks the 14th facility in Japan and the first in the Tokai region.

Lalaport is a shopping center that brings together fashion, food, and entertainment facilities. This year marks the 38th anniversary of the opening of the first store in 1981, and the first Lalaport in the Tokai region will open.
Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Nagoya Minato Aquls, the 14th store in Japan, will incorporate the track record and knowledge cultivated by Lalaport stores throughout, including initiatives that are friendly to parents raising children.
The facility's concept is "A 'connected mall' that connects people and weaves time together." As the core of Minato Aquls, a town built in the port area of Nagoya City, filled with water and greenery, the facility aims to go beyond the boundaries of a traditional shopping mall and become a new place for local interaction and communication.
"Welcome Approach"
The facility will house 217 stores. Popular Tokyo shops, such as Tsutaya Bookstore, with its "WITH FAMILY" theme, and RHC Ron Herman, with its "store filled with positive energy and smiles," will be opening in the Tokai area for the first time. The mall will cater to a wide range of ages, offering high-end fashion and trendy restaurants. Beyond shopping, the mall will also offer numerous spaces designed to "connect people," unlike traditional shopping malls, including the expansive "Green Plaza" where visitors can relax with family and friends, a popular cafe and food court where visitors can enjoy a picnic-like atmosphere, the "Decagon" event space that will act as a hub for events, and the "Community & Space" where visitors can gather. Furthermore, on September 25th, prior to the grand opening of LaLaport, "Minato Aquls" will open its doors to the public.
