BEAMS will be holding a talk event titled "Culinary Creation and Street Culture in Food" at PADDLERS COFFEE in Hatagaya from June 25th to September 17th as a joint project with the "Gordon Matta-Clark Exhibition" (held at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo from June 19th to September 17th).

At the heart of Matta-Clark's work is exploring how art can contribute to the creation of thriving communities. In response to this, the exhibition will consider what kind of culture modern food is creating, the meaning and value of culinary creation, and the function of restaurants as a place.

During the exhibition, popular chefs, restaurant owners, and other guests from a variety of genres will be invited to serve original menus inspired by the exhibition, as well as hold talk events related to food. The events will also be streamed on YouTube.
