Nakamura Kenta, the renowned photographer of "photo studio LOBJET," will be holding a photo exhibition titled "Ping. Ping." at Omotesando ROCKET from June 15th to 20th.


Nakamura Kenta is an up-and-coming photographer active both in Japan and overseas, expressing the strangeness that lurks in the everyday with his unique worldview. His work has been selected for the Italian edition of "VOGUE" as one of the top 100 photos of 2016, "PHOTO VOGUE" as one of the top 30 photographers, and the JAPAN PHOTO AWARD. He has also been featured in media in Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Poland, the US, and more.
This exhibition will feature around 30 photographs taken under different concepts titled "Your story," "Mitsugetsu," "Allergy," and "Offerings," and will also feature limited edition items for sale, such as the "Ping. Ping. ZINE" (first edition limited to 100 copies), T-shirts, stickers, and more.
An opening party will also be held on the first day from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a performance by ELLEH, an electro-pop indie band formed by writer Satoru Teshima and Ohio-born electro producer Bob Willey.
Enjoy the works, which are both amusing and somewhat sad, and will stir the emotions of viewers, with a photography style that "captures the strangeness and vivid images of everyday life."
