Moncler Genius launches, first limited edition collection by Hiroshi Fujiwara to be released in June

May 29, 2018

Moncler has launched its new project, "MONCLER GENIUS." The first collection will be released in mid-June. This project is a collaboration between Moncler and the unparalleled talent of the "Genius" group. These creators, each with their own unique mindset, share the common language of "Moncler" and build their creative work around the brand's identity. A new vision that transcends the concept of seasons will see the release of a collection each month from June to November. The guest creators include Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino, Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design, Kei Ninomiya of noir kei ninomiya, and Craig Green, the designer of Moncler C, among eight other world-renowned talents. Each collection is identified by a number and expresses its own unique character based on the down jacket.

Each collection will be released simultaneously at Moncler stores and online. Starting with "7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara" in mid-June, "6 Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya" will be released in late July, "5 Moncler Craig Green" in late August, "2 Moncler 1952" curated by Karl Templer in early September, "4 Moncler Simone Rocha" in late September, "1 Moncler Pierpaolo Piccioli" in mid-October, and "3 Moncler Grenoble" by Sandro Mandrino in mid-November.

In addition, in early October, pop-up "Moncler Genius Stores" housing eight collections will open in Tokyo and New York. At the same time, "8 Moncler Palm Angels" by Francesco Ragazzi will be released in limited quantities.
