Joji Nakamura is a young ceramic artist who continues to turn his potter's wheel in Kiyomizu-Gojozaka, Kyoto, a traditional home of Japanese pottery. His talent has been highly praised in recent years, having collaborated with Matohu on tea box exhibitions. His unique shapes and beautifully colored glazes are the hallmarks of "Present Tense of Utsuwa."

This time, he has created mainly tea tableware and other items for Matohu. This will be the first ceramics exhibition in the Matohu Guest Artist Series.
