This exhibition is the long-awaited first new collection show in two years for the brand created by Yumiko Arimoto, an embroidery artist and fashion designer. This time, in collaboration with sound artist mamoru, the two will carefully weave a story using their respective expressions to create a fashion show, against a backdrop of research materials on 17th century Dutch and Japanese history. The messages written throughout history will transcend time and become part of Sina Suyen's clothing, worn by modern models and beautifully adorning the show space.
After the show, an installation using clothes from the collection will be on display from May 13th to 20th. A message from the designer ahead of the event will be posted on the Sina Suyen official website (http://sina1986.com).

This will be the gallery's inaugural exhibition, and it was created by Nippon Copack Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of hangers, mannequins, and fixtures for apparel, as a place to consider "how to display clothes" and to promote fashion from a variety of angles. The interior design is by Yamazaki Kentaro Design Workshop, and the gallery's plans are being curated by Nakamura Tawara of Design Studio HYOTA.
Don't miss the launch of Sina Suien's long-awaited new collection and the launch of this gallery, which will serve as a new venue for promoting fashion.
