Golden Week finally began this weekend, so what will you be doing this year?
The first half of 2018 saw the opening of a variety of stores, including new commercial buildings, select shops, and cafe restaurants. Following on from our previous Golden Week outing summary, "6 Art Spots for Parents and Kids," this time we've compiled a list of five new attractions in Tokyo!

◆A Large Louis Vuitton Pop-Up Store Opens in the Former GAP Shibuya Location! (Until May 6th)
This pop-up store, which occupies the first and second floors of the former GAP Shibuya store on Koen-dori and has been transformed into the world of Louis Vuitton, is so large it's hard to believe it's only open for a limited time. Its huge monogram signboard commands a striking presence. The first floor sells items from the Fall/Winter 2018 Men's Pre-Collection, including items exclusive to Japan and the pop-up store. The second floor is an art space where you can enjoy an exhibition of "Vivienne" figures from Louis Vuitton's gifting collection, designed by Keiichi Tanaami, Theseus Chan, Yoshikazu Yamagata, and Masaho Anotani, as well as digital installations using motion displays. Why not visit this new Shibuya landmark, a place you can only experience now?

◆The second branch of the restaurant serving breakfasts from around the world has opened in Harajuku!
World Breakfast All Day, a popular cafe restaurant serving breakfasts from around the world, has opened its second location in Harajuku, following on from its first location in Gaienmae. The new restaurant is three times larger than the Gaienmae store and will have 40 table seats and 12 counter seats. At the time of opening, the restaurant will offer regular menu items from six countries: the UK, Taiwan, Mexico, the US, Switzerland, and Scotland, as well as a Swiss breakfast for a limited time from April to September. Enjoy a special experience that exposes you to global cultures through taste!

◆The world's first Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse workshop with an attached eat-in area
Alain Ducasse's chocolate specialty shop, Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, has opened its Tokyo workshop in Nihonbashi, its first store outside of Paris. This special shop is made up of a workshop, merchandise store, and eat-in space. Take a peek inside the workshop and enjoy your chocolate to the fullest.
