PARCO has announced that it will open a new commercial facility, "Kawasaki Zero Gate (tentative name)," in early fall 2019 in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, a designated city with a population of approximately 1.5 million.

Perspective view of Kawasaki Zero Gate (tentative name)

Kawasaki City is a growing city with high expectations for future expansion and development of urban functions, with the start of construction of a connecting road to Haneda Airport, the increasing internationalization of the city, the increasing potential of the city's waterfront area for cutting-edge industry and R&D, and its designation as a National Strategic Special Zone. Kawasaki Zero Gate (tentative name), which will be built in this city, is scheduled to open in early autumn 2019 in front of JR Kawasaki Station.

The planned site is located on the corner of the intersection of the main street in front of Kawasaki Station and Shinkawa Street, a highly visible location with roads on three sides, including Citta Street. Taking advantage of the location's characteristics, the exterior will feature a glass curtain wall spanning approximately 100 meters, and the attractive facades of each tenant will aim to make walking around the city more enjoyable and to create even more excitement in the area.

The lineup of tenants will be announced as they arrive! It looks like we won't be able to take our eyes off this new charm of Kawasaki.
