Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read right now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Saturday, we will introduce books selected by Shelf, a Harajuku bookstore (3-7-4 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which specializes in foreign books.



■ "Egoiste No. 18"

This is the 18th issue of Egoiste, the world's most snobby magazine, which has been published whimsically by Nicole Wisniak since its launch in 1977. In addition to portrait series of model Sara Grace Wallerstedt and actor and film director Xavier Dolan, approximately 30% of the pages are taken up by photographer Paolo Roversi.

Other features include cute fashion photos of Milla Jovovich and her daughter Eva by photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, an editorial for Louis Vuitton featuring Max Vadukul, portraits by NARS founder François Nars, and a portfolio by Wim Wenders' wife, Donata.



As with the previous edition, it will be published as a two-volume set, with the first volume featuring Xavier Dolan's cover by Paolo Roversi and the second volume featuring Jessica Chastain by Ellen von Unwerth.
