OMEGA has announced its latest 2018 models, featuring a wide range of designs and an evolved aesthetic.
Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer (¥1,040,000)
Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer (¥1,040,000)
The Seamaster Diver 300M, a legendary favorite since its release in 1993, has been redesigned to celebrate its 25th anniversary, and the new Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer has been released. Both models feature a 42mm case diameter and are equipped with the Master Chronometer Caliber 8800, which has quickly gained a reputation for its precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. The exterior design, which has been meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, features the iconic diving bezel made from ceramic, the diving scale made with Ceragold™ technology, which uses an 18K gold electroplating process, or white enamel for improved whiteness and durability, and the dial is made from polished ceramic and is available in black, blue, and PVD-coated colors. Also noteworthy is the return of the highly acclaimed laser-etched wave pattern featured in the original model. The helium escape valve, one of the most important details of the Seamaster Diver 300M in the previous model, has been redesigned to a conical shape for improved operability. Both models are available with a classic metal bracelet or an integrated rubber strap in black or blue.
"Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer Titanium Tantalum"
"Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer Titanium Tantalum" (1,390,000 yen)
The "Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer Titanium Tantalum", a new addition to the "Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer" lineup, is a special model limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide, using tantalum for the joint between the bezel and the center of the bracelet. The 42mm case diameter is the same as the latest Seamaster Diver 300M Master Chronometer, and features a conical helium escape valve, a wave-patterned case back, and an integrated bracelet.
The crown, bezel ring, helium escape valve, bracelet links, and hands are all made of 18K Sedna™ gold, and when turned over, the transparent case back reveals the Seamaster collection's iconic symbol, OMEGA's Seahorse.
 "Seamaster 1948 Master Chronometer"
"Seamaster 1948 Master Chronometer"
Left: Small seconds model (710,000 yen), Right: Central seconds model (660,000 yen)
, which follow the spirit of the classic 1948 model, are now available, limited to 1,948 pieces worldwide.
This model's design is inspired by the military watches that Omega delivered in the 1940s. The small seconds model features leaf-shaped hour and minute hands, with the minute hand being domed to match the dial. The small seconds hand is located at 6 o'clock and comes on a brown leather strap with a polished and brushed stainless steel buckle. The central seconds model features dauphine hands coated with white Super-LumiNova, and both the minute and second hands are domed. The strap is made of blue-gray leather.
Both case backs feature flat sapphire crystal and are equipped with the patented Naiad Lock system. The ring around the sapphire crystal is laser-engraved with the words "SEAMASTER," "LIMITED EDITION," and the limited edition number. As a tribute to the many pilots and sailors who have passed away, the sapphire crystal itself is laser-engraved with the "70th Anniversary" logo, an image of a Chris-Craft ship, and a Gloster Meteor, the first jet fighter deployed by the Royal Air Force, and then hand-lacquered.
Both models come with a special collector's box made of brown soft leather, and an interchangeable leather strap or a NATO strap in Admiralty Gray, the watch's original color, as well as a tool for changing the strap.
