The "Dior Art of Color" exhibition by Parfums Christian Dior is being held from April 12th to 21st at SO-CAL LINK GALLERY in Omotesando, Tokyo.
The exhibition is an exhibition of the art book "Dior, The Art of Color," published in October 2016. Since its publication, it has toured New York, Arles, Dubai, Seoul, and Shanghai, and this is its first time in Japan.
Inspired by Dior's 12 brand colors, "Dior Art of Color" features artists and creators expressing their passion for color. The exhibition unravels the history of Dior Beauty through the works and words of great artists who manipulate color, including current Dior Makeup Creative & Image Director Peter Phillips, as well as past artistic directors Serge Lutens and Tyen. It invites visitors on a journey to experience the beauty of color, the essence of the house, as well as the house's pioneering spirit and boldness. Additionally, the Dior Omotesando boutique and online boutique will be selling a limited edition "5 Couleurs (Art of Color)" eyeshadow palette (7,700 yen) as an exclusive exhibition item. Embossed with "ART OF COLOR," this special palette features essential Dior colors, including red, white, and blue, which Peter Philips created inspired by the "Art of Color." A reception party was held the night before the event, with Peter Philips, Dior Makeup muse Bella Hadid, Dior Beauty Asia Ambassadors Kiko Mizuhara, Yosuke Kubozuka, Youn-a, MIYAVI, and Lauren Tsai among other distinguished guests, immersing themselves in the world of Dior beauty.
