Isetan Mitsukoshi will be holding the "think good campaign" at five stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area (Shinjuku, Nihonbashi, Ginza, Tachikawa, and Urawa). "Think good" is a slogan that embodies the idea of "starting with using your imagination and thinking seriously" towards a colorful and prosperous future. This fourth campaign, with the keywords "circulate, turn, connect," is based on the theme of "thinking about each and every choice in your daily life," and proposes plans for products and services that are unique to Isetan Mitsukoshi and that lead to "circulation." We will deliver "Isetan Mitsukoshi's idea of sustainability."

A dress that respects the beauty of kimono fabric and the craftsmanship
<3711 project> was launched by Yohei Ohno, designer of , who was inspired by the beauty of kimono fabric and the craftsmanship of the artisans. The project transforms kimono fabric that Ohno has collected at antique markets and antique stores into modern styles. The design features architectural forms made using patterns from the brand's archive dresses.

Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store

Mitsukoshi was founded in 1673 (the first year of the Enpo era) and will celebrate its 350th anniversary in 2023. The Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store is proposing the think good campaign to pass on history and traditional culture to the future. Traditional Japanese culture will also be brought to you by the Mitsukoshi Theater, which reopened in April this year.


Since 2016, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store has been working on beekeeping on the rooftop of its new wing. The flower nectar obtained from the flowers that bloom in Nihonbashi is characterized by its rich flavor and elegant aroma. At , it is sold as "Nihonbashi Honey," and sweets made using this honey will also be available exclusively at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

Torige Kiyoshi is a native of Noto and a full-fledged chinkin artist who graduated from the Urushi Art Technical Institute. The "Living National Treasure Shinuchi Nakasaburo Performance," a signature performance at Mitsukoshi Theater since 1991, will be held for the first time in three years. Shinuchi-bushi, a traditional Japanese dance performed with a touch of melancholy, depicts the love and affection between a man and a woman, accompanied by shamisen. Important Intangible Cultural Property Holder (Living National Treasure) Shinuchi Nakasaburo and his son, Tagatayu, not only continue the tradition but also explore new forms of expression.
