The North Face and minä perhonen's collaborative camping goods and apparel will be released on March 16th.
Minä Perhonen's collections are inspired by social considerations and a poetic appreciation for nature, while The North Face aims to coexist with nature. This collaborative collection, born from the shared desire of both brands to "love and enjoy the plants and animals that live in nature," marks its fourth release for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. This season's theme is camping, and in addition to waterproof apparel, which The North Face specializes in, items such as shelters, gear containers, and camping chairs will also be available.
The items are printed with special textile patterns by minä perhonen. There are three patterns in total: "Flash Flower," which represents the arrival of spring and the breath of a flowering field; "Tree & Wind," inspired by the cool breeze blowing through the trees of the forest; and "Rainbow Rail," which evokes a sunny promenade. Each pattern has a name and origin unique to Minä Perhonen.

The item lineup consists of 10 types. In addition to the unisex Mountain Trace Poncho (20,000 yen) and Mountain Trace Hat (7,000 yen), the women's Alpine Trace Jacket (35,000 yen), and the kids' Young Star Coat (13,000 yen) and Young Star Hat (5,000 yen), outdoor goods such as the Mountain Trace Duffel S (18,500 yen), Mountain Fuse Box Two (18,500 yen), Mountain Trace Gear Container (22,000 yen), Mountain Trace Homestead Shelter (55,000 yen), and Mountain Trace Camp Chair (25,000 yen) will be released.
