The two-person music duo MAY'S will be serving as store managers for one day at Mark Styler's apparel brand, Elianegigi.
From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on the 22nd, MAY'S will be at the company's select shop, Choosy Chu, on the third floor of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku. A tank top (3,990 yen) with "We are MAY'S CREW" printed on the back neck will be sold for one day only, and purchases of 8,400 yen or more will receive a free novelty pouch. The first 50 customers will receive an autograph from MAY'S on the spot. Purchases of 12,600 yen or more will be eligible for a commemorative Polaroid photo with MAY'S.
Established in April 2012, Elianegigi is directed by former model Nana Takahashi. The brand is participating in the company's fashion show, "touchMe." MAY'S is a duo consisting of vocalist and lyricist Maiko Katagiri and producer Junichi Kawai. Formed in 2002, they made their major debut in 2008. In 2011, Katagiri had to suspend activities for the rest of the year due to vocal nodules, but returned after a five-month break. A best-of album, a culmination of their 11 years of activity, was released in February of this year.
