The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is holding "Collection Exhibition 3: Adventures in Seeing" from January 27th to June 24th.
This exhibition views the museum as a place suited to "seeing," "appreciating," and "considering" artworks, and displays works that vary in color, shape, material, and method of expression, as well as highly abstract works that can be viewed in a variety of ways.

The venue has created a system to assist visitors when viewing the works by displaying keywords that serve as hints for viewing each exhibition room, such as "look carefully, find it," "crouch down to look, look from the side," "get closer, get farther away," and "follow with your eyes, close your eyes."
"Follow with your eyes, close your eyes" will feature works by Koganezawa Takehito, who has exhibited both domestically and internationally, and whose range of expression revolves around video but also extends to performance, drawing, and installation. His works have been highly praised for their keen sensitivity to the subtleties of everyday life, bringing to light the mystery, unease, beauty and humor that lie within.

Try to get one step closer to the work mentally, stop for 10 seconds longer than usual, and even if you think you've seen everything, look a little further. You may notice details that you hadn't noticed before, and time will be given to let your imagination run wild.
