Jan 22, 2018
Terrace Mall Shonan, one of the largest shopping malls in the Shonan area, is undergoing its first major renovation since opening in 2011, with a grand opening scheduled for late April.

This renovation will see the introduction of new, sophisticated urban fashion and miscellaneous goods stores. Stylish urban select shops such as BEAMS, SHIPS, nano・universe, and FREAK'S STORE will be opening their first stores in the Shonan area.

New international brands such as POLO RALPH LAUREN, which offers a wide range of products, and Swedish fashion watch brand DANIEL WELLINGTON will also be appearing, further enhancing the shopping experience. Ten new men's fashion stores will be added, creating a variety of specialty shops that both men and women can enjoy shopping at.

The cosmetics and jewelry zone at the second floor entrance will feature the cosmetic brand THREE and the luxury cosmetics select shop Isetan Mirror Makeup & Cosmetics. As a shopping center directly connected to the station, it aims to strengthen its fashion functions and further improve convenience.

Lifestyle stores will include TCG Patagonia, B:MING LIFE STORE by BEAMS, and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, a long-established lifestyle goods store with approximately 300 years of history. In terms of food, Kuze Fuku Shoten, a select shop of delicious foods from all over Japan, and Kodawariya, a shop selling domestically produced, additive-free, and organic foods, will be added to meet the needs of customers who seek high-quality and authentic products. The third floor is home to a new concept zone, "Kurashi Terrace (tentative name)," designed to enhance a rich and luxurious Shonan lifestyle. The approximately 1,300m² space, designed with the image of a "Seaside Vintage House—a home nestled by the sea," houses six relocated and renovated stores, including specialty shops offering high-quality interiors and lifestyle goods, as well as a relaxing cafe. Unico, Francfranc, and Cath Kidston, which sell original furniture and interior goods, have all reopened with new looks. ACTUS, an interior design shop, has opened the Suholm Cafe, which features terrace seating surrounded by lush greenery. Additionally, 212 Kitchen Store, which sells kitchen goods, will offer workshops, talk shows, and other content to help you enjoy everyday life. The food and beverage options have also been expanded. TOASTY'S, a French toast specialty shop produced by the famous Hayama restaurant Hikagechaya, will open its third store, and DEAN & DELUCA will open its first store in the Shonan area. The third-floor food court, Shiokaze Kitchen, will feature the famous roast beef restaurant Roast Beef Kamakurayama, making its first appearance in a food court; Sato no Udon, where you can sample Fujisawa's specialty rose bowl; and Gara Nakakaigan, a popular curry restaurant from Chigasaki. Eight of the 14 stores in the restaurant zone on the fourth floor have opened, including "Pasta & Wine Kabe no Ana" and "Aloha Table." The first floor's "Shonan Marche" will house "Kamakura Beniya," a long-established confectionery shop with over 60 years of history, and "Shonan Sweets Selection," which brings together sweets from famous stores in the Shonan area, catering to a wide range of needs from daily use to special occasions.
