A collection exhibition by contemporary artist Kagami Ken, active both in Japan and abroad, "KEN KAGAMI'S COLLECTION "SO" will be held at Gallery VOILLD in Nakameguro, Tokyo from January 26th to February 4th.
Kagami Ken continues to inspire people with a wide range of expressions, including drawings, sculptures, and performances. While active both in Japan and abroad, he also serves as a buyer at STRANGE STORE, where he sells original items, vintage clothing, miscellaneous goods, and collections of works by young artists. He is always dedicated to collecting "interesting things," and his unique sense of humor and aesthetic sense always attract many people.

This exhibition will showcase a "certain object" that Kagami Ken began collecting like an obsessive, as he continued to expand his diverse collection over the years. While these days it's rare to encounter such a precious "certain object," it remains in the back of many people's memories. What exactly was this "certain object" that captivated him, and what does "that" mean? The mystery will be solved at the exhibition.
In addition, to commemorate the opening of this solo exhibition, a talk show featuring Kagami Ken, Hirayama Masanao, and Tonda Hayashi Ran will be held on January 26th from 8:00 PM. Participation is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
