Southern French fragrance "Made et Len" pop-up now open in Shibuya

Event Date:2017.12.16-12.26
Dec 19, 2017
A pop-up for MAD et LEN, a fragrance brand from the South of France, is being held at Graphpaper in Shibuya, Tokyo from December 16th to 26th.

The name and product development concept for MAD et LEN comes from the episode "mad.len (madlene)" at the beginning of Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time - Chapter 1: Swann's Way", in which "dipping a madeleine in tea and eating it causes all of one's memories to come flooding back."

Made et Len's products are characterized by their deep, gorgeous fragrance, which is hand-infused using traditional methods of natural oils distilled from flowers and trees, and described as a scent that evokes a lost time. They eschew mass production and are meticulously crafted, right down to the case. Behind their stoic, minimalist art-like appearance lies the warmth of the craft.

This pop-up will feature a carefully selected lineup of scented potpourri made from lava rocks and tree resin, as well as fragrant perfumes and candles. Mad et Len's creations will add elegance to even the most mundane moments of your daily life. Why not give one as a special gift to someone special?
