The Aoyama Holiday Market, offering stollen, hot coffee, and Christmas gifts, will be held over two days, December 16th and 17th, in the plaza in front of the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo.
Vendors will include many of the popular vendors that have been exhibiting at farmers markets over the past year, such as the Aoyama Bread Festival (bread), Tokyo Coffee Festival (coffee), Raw Tokyo (vintage fashion), Tokyo Craft Market (Japanese artisans), Nordic lifestyle market, and Wine Love (wine).

The ever-popular "Stollen Tasting Event" will be held again this year at the venue. Stollen, a traditional fermented pastry originating in Dresden, Germany, is a sweet and rich treat made with a dough filled with dried fruits and nuts, spread with butter, and sprinkled with sugar, making it a seasonal treat.
This time, the lineup includes 5-bread sets from Yamaichi Bakery in Shizuoka, OLIVE CROWN and Setune Bonniday in Kanagawa, Bäckerei Biobrot in Hyogo, and Hatano Kobo Pan Taroya in Saitama. The 10-bread set includes Katane Bakery and Tarui Bakery in Tokyo, KOUB in Yamagata, KANEL BREAD in Tochigi, Rinascimento cafe in Gunma, soil by houtoubakery in Kanagawa, Miura Bakery Mitsumugi, Yoshida Bakery in Kyoto, haluta in Nagano, and Bäckerei Konditorei Hidaka in Shimane.
The price is 1,800 yen for a 5-piece stollen tasting set and 3,000 yen for a 10-piece stollen tasting set. Advance tickets are no longer available, but tickets are available on the day. Both sets are accompanied by a hot coffee from THE LOCAL COFFEE STAND.

Four workshops will also be held to help you enjoy the holiday with your hands. The "beeswax candle making" workshop will be held from 10am to 4pm on both the 16th and 17th, and you can experience making beeswax candles that feel soft in your hands and have a gentle scent. The participation fee is 1,500 yen for two beeswax candles, 1,000 yen for one beeswax candle, or 1,500 yen for one beeswax candle + decoration.
On the 16th, from 2pm to 4pm, there will be a freshly made bean-to-bar chocolate tasting workshop. In addition to the tasting, you can also learn about chocolate production, the Amazon where it is produced, and cacao and agroforestry. The participation fee is 3,500 yen.
On the 17th, there will be a workshop to make an original "forest tree wreath" made by a florist, and a workshop to make "flower brooches" and "headbands" using flowers from farmers. In the "forest tree wreath" making workshop, you will make a Christmas wreath using fresh branches and leaves brought from the forest to enhance your Christmas spirit. Each session is limited to 20 people, and is held at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30 PM. One Christmas wreath costs 1,500 yen, and additional nuts and flower assortments cost 300 yen.
