The National Art Center, Tokyo is hosting the "20th DOMANI: Tomorrow Exhibition," showcasing works by fresh artists who will shape the future.

The National Art Center, Tokyo will hold the "20th DOMANI: Tomorrow Exhibition" from January 13th to March 4th, 2018.

In addition, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the exhibition, a talk event will be held featuring exhibiting artists and guests. On January 13th, from 11am there will be "Artist Talk Vol.1" by Masuda Yoshie, from 2pm there will be "10 Years from Research Abroad to Venice Biennale 2017" by Iwasaki Takahiro and Washida Meruro, and from 4:30pm there will be "Lecture for Collaboration" by mamoru, on the 14th from 11am there will be "What is Art Education - What is Production - What is the Scene" by Inose Naoya, and "14 Years in France. Who is Mori Keita!?" by Mori Keita and Tatehata Akira, on the 21st from 11am there will be "Paris: Between Reality and Fantasy" by Tanaka Makiko and Sumiyoshi Chie, and on the 27th from 2pm there will be "Traveling Between the Asia-Pacific Region and Japan" by Nakamura Yuta and Kobayashi Takanobu. On February 3rd from 2pm, there will be a talk entitled "Novels are Strange (Is the Future Called Tomorrow Fiction?)" by Amemiya Yosuke, Enjoe Toh, and Kurosaki So; on the 10th from 2pm, there will be a talk entitled "A Creative Approach to Africa through Artistic Expression" by Nishio Miya and Ozawa Tsuyoshi; from 4:30pm, there will be a talk entitled "Shadows, Gazes, Plurality - Between Painting, Photography, and Printmaking" by Miyake Saori and Sumitomo Fumihiko; on the 12th from 2pm, there will be a talk entitled "What Design and Editing Can Do Today in the Art Field" by Mori Taishiro, Uchida Shinichi, and Mimasu Yusuke; on the 17th from 2pm, there will be a talk entitled "Concrete Sculpture/Possibilities of Being - The Emergeing Self" by Nakatani Michiko and Tanada Koji; and on the 24th from 2pm, there will be a talk entitled "Creation and Appreciation/Artificial Intelligence and Art" by yan2, Nakazawa Hideki, and Kobayashi Keiko.

All talk events will be held at the special venue at the entrance to Special Exhibition Room 2E of the National Art Center, Tokyo, and will last 60 to 90 minutes. Participation is free. Further details will be announced on the official website (http://domani-ten.com/) from time to time.
