LONGCHAMP has opened its first flagship store in Japan, "Longchamp La Maison Omotesando." To celebrate the opening, an exclusive opening party was held on October 19th.

Longchamp La Maison Omotesando, which opened at the end of September, is one of the largest in Asia, measuring 35 meters in height and covering a total floor area of 500 square meters. It stocks all of the brand's collections, including women's handbags, ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods, and the men's collection, as well as Longchamp's iconic luggage bags. To convey the luxurious worldview of this new boutique, founding family and Artistic Director Sophie Delafontaine and CEO Jean Cassegrain invited special guests from around the world, as well as Japan. Many celebrities attended, including French actress Audrey Tautou, who starred in the film "Amelie," as well as Rei Kikukawa, Michiko Tanaka, Atsushi, SHIHO, Makiko Takizawa, Yoshiko Chris-Webb, Hana Matsushima, Tomoko Inazawa, Takuro Ohno, KENZO (DA PUMP), FISHBOY, and Yoona (Girls' Generation).

The opening party kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the founding family and the family's close friend, the famous French actress Audrey Tautou. A collaborative session by French DJ Ines Melia and Japanese DJ Mademoiselle Yulia, as well as a dance performance by Japanese dancers Suzuki Yohei and Ikeda Mika, brought the venue to a climax, and guests enjoyed this exclusive, one-night-only experience in a luxurious space. It was an opening party worthy of marking the start of a new legend for Longchamp, a French luxury brand that embodies "Joie de Vivre," or the joy of living.
