MAISON KITSUNé has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 women's collection. The theme of the collection is "romance," a fantasy city that blends the atmosphere of Miami and Los Angeles. Continuing the mood of the 2018 Resort Collection, "Last Exit to Romance," the collection offered a balanced blend of casual and elegant styles. The eye-catching "heart" motif is featured throughout the collection. Black hearts dangle from sheer baby dresses and blouses. Simple T-shirts and cotton dresses are adorned with heart-shaped metal brooches, gathered for a three-dimensional effect. Baseball jackets and high-waisted trousers feature heart-shaped pockets with white stitching as adorable accents. Bold hearts are also featured in accessories such as sunglasses and earrings. The "crest of love" that stands out on jacquard blousons and pullovers is embroidered with peaceful love birds and palm trees, exuding the summery charm that is symbolic of the collection.

In contrast to the playful motifs, subdued materials were chosen for the fabrics. The romantic mood of the collection is created by skillfully combining basic materials such as cotton, denim, and jersey with elements such as waffle, pleats, and ribbons. The use of elaborate fabrics, such as classic English embroidery and houndstooth jacquard, also creates a sophisticated impression. Other outerwear items that are minimalist yet make a statement include a long coat adorned with silver patches and piping, and a chester coat in heart camouflage.
