Written Afterwards' 2013 Spring/Summer collection was presented in the form of a show at the Shibuya Fashion Festival. It was the final chapter of a story that has been presented through installations since last year. The title was "THE SEVEN GODS - Clothes from Chaos -." The show was divided into three parts. In the first part, 18 figures walked around wearing looks made from unusual materials, such as blue tarpaulins with stuffed animals attached and netting. T-shirts printed with the logo of Nippori fabric store Tomato were also featured. Just when you thought the show had finished with the finale, the second part began with a sutra chant. After a ritual-like performance featuring girls wearing mats with cranes on their heads, the show entered the third part. The climax was the start of the Seven Lucky Gods look. Giant Seven Lucky Gods figures carried ornaments made of rakes arranged like halos. Their bodies were decorated with toys, flowers, stuffed animals, and other items, creating a chaotic design. The show ended with a mannequin wearing a sweatshirt and shorts riding on a cloud (kintoun). The outfit worn by this mannequin was the only outfit unveiled this time.

Designer Yamagata Yoshikazu said he looked to Buddhism and the essence of things. He has no intention of mass-producing this collection, and will be exhibiting it at an art fair. Many reporters gathered for a press conference to interview Yamagata, who showed his first runway show in two and a half years.
