On July 2nd, Miu Miu opened a one-night-only private club, the Miu Miu Club, at the Automobile Club de France's Paris headquarters to present the brand's 2018 Cruise Collection and hold a party. The Miu Miu Club is a limited-time private club where attendees can enjoy a variety of content, including music and video, along with fashion. The event kicked off with a performance by rapper Tommy Genesis. The runway show for the 2018 Cruise Collection then began, accompanied by a soundtrack by Frederic Sanchez. Models clad in jumpsuits and rompers reminiscent of the uniforms worn by race car drivers and auto mechanics appeared on a runway designed to resemble a racing circuit. Hats featured sun visors, embroidered logo patches, and beaded checkered flags on the chest, while quilted leather toolbox-like body bags and handbags swayed. Gowns with pale pastel flowers and neon-colored floral work jackets, embellished with sparkling jewels and crystals at the collar, perfectly captured the brand's signature femininity. Toward the end of the show, the collection shifted to a more subdued color palette of khaki, beige, and navy, showcasing fur coats and blousons incorporating military elements. Many decorative items, inspired by the track, were also featured in the shoes, eyewear, and jewelry, with playful yet eye-catching designs catching the attention of guests. Many celebrities attended the event, including Elle Fanning, Milla Jovovich, and Stacy Martin. After the show, a casual dinner designed by the chefs of DA VITTORIO was served, and the luxurious night came to a close with a performance by female DJs Siobhan Bell and Valentine Fillol-Cordier.
