On June 1, 2022, H.P. FRANCE will open a flagship store for the Spanish brand D-due at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi in Tokyo.

【D-due Brand Profile】
D-due is a fashion brand originating from a long-established dressmaker based in Galicia, Spain. The designers are Rosario Froján and artist Alfredo Olmedo. The brand name comes from a coined word with a double meaning, meaning from two directions, and the affinity and unexpectedness of the two designers' ideas gives rise to their creations. The brand's appeal lies in its designs that are meticulously crafted like haute couture, unique, high-quality materials using graphic textiles, and comfortable wear thanks to expert pattern-making. The brand presents collections that are rich in concept and story.

A clever iconic item

Sketch Collection Blouse 42,900 yen (tax included)
A blouse with an effortless silhouette that is representative of the Sketch Collection, made from high-quality linen. This collection pursues the beauty of patterns, like a sketch in a painting. The front of the garment features a silkscreen print of designer Alfredo's illustration of a lighthouse in the Corbedo Sand Dunes in Galicia. The minimalist design, with attention to detail such as the piping on the collar and sleeve facing, creates an elegant piece.

XURELO Collection Gingham Check A-Line Coat ¥132,000 (tax included)
This coat, with its complex combination of different materials and its highly three-dimensional yet somewhat two-dimensional appeal, is the result of a design woven by Rosario, who is an expert in patterns, and Alfredo, who has mastered graphics. This coat, with its extremely A-line silhouette and three-dimensional collar and sleeve details, is edgy yet timeless, making it a popular first item for the brand.

XURELO Collection Original Jacquard Coat ¥154,000 (tax included)
This coat, featuring an original jacquard textile, is a popular fall/winter item. The Fall/Winter 2022 collection was created around the theme of "XURELO" (meaning horse mackerel in Galician), inspired by the fishing industry and fishermen that support the local area. The bold, graphic design, featuring fish motifs painted on the light, soft fabric, almost appears to be swimming in a sea of jacquard, is eye-catching. This piece is emblematic of the brand's blend of quality and playfulness.
