COMME des GARCONS HOMME held its Spring/Summer 2015 men's collection show on July 29th. Designer Junya Watanabe. The first half of the show featured suits and matching sets in charcoal gray, deep navy, and black. Overall silhouettes were slim, with short pants. Checked and striped shirts were in light, vibrant colors. Barefoot styling with leather shoes offered a refreshing summer look. The second half featured shorts and matching sets, indigo blousons with white stitching, and striped cardigans and pants. The vibe was relaxed and casual, with a hint of marine flair. A defining feature of this season was the use of post-production processing to create new looks. Cotton-linen pieces were given a vintage look with a vegetable coating, nylon used in parkas and blousons had a paper-like texture, and piece-dyed sneakers were also featured.
Comme des Garçons Homme collaborates with various brands every time, and this season they have produced a bonded coat in collaboration with Sealup, an Italian brand founded in 1935.
