Rag & Bone to open pop-up store at Isetan for six months, selling lifestyle goods

Mar 19, 2015

Starting March 25th, rag & bone will open a pop-up shop, "West 13th Street, NY 10014," on the third floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store for six months. This is the brand's first long-term opening. The shop's concept is based on the everyday lives of designers, staff working at the New York headquarters, and their families, and the store's name is taken from the address of the New York head office. On opening day, the shop will offer the full lineup from the 2015 Spring/Summer collection, as well as early releases of items scheduled for release in April at the brand's directly managed stores. The kids' collection will include unisex T-shirts (6,900 yen) in four styles and three sizes featuring graphics from the 2015 Spring/Summer collection, as well as mini tote bags (4,500 yen). Additionally, the shop will also carry wooden cube puzzles (3,000 yen) and yo-yos (3,000 yen) inspired by vintage toys.

Meanwhile, the leather goods lineup, created in collaboration with AJIOKA, a long-established Japanese leather goods manufacturer, includes a leather tray (6,500 yen) and coaster set (8,500 yen), which are made in Japan. Also available is a leather cup sleeve (2,000 yen) made from tanned leather that deepens in color with use.

Going forward, the shop will gradually release lifestyle goods unique to the brand according to the season. Rain gear is scheduled to be released during the rainy season, and a capsule collection of beach items will be available in summer.
