Traditional Weatherwear opens first direct store in Kansai, collaboration with Beautiful People revives

Mar 25, 2015

Traditional Weatherwear will open its first directly managed store in the Kansai region on April 2nd at LUCUA 1100, directly connected to JR Osaka Station.
The brand is a family brand of the British company Mackintosh. It started out as a rubberized coat brand and now offers a full range of outerwear as well as a trendy British collection.
The Osaka store will be the brand's second in Japan, following its Aoyama store. To commemorate the opening, the brand will revive its collaboration with "beautiful people," which was launched in the 2008-09 Autumn/Winter collection. The collection will feature items that combine traditional check patterns with shiny lines, blending tradition with a sporty feel. The lineup, which includes a mod raincoat (59,000 yen), umbrellas, and scarves, will be available at the store in early April, followed by the Aoyama store in mid-April.
