OPENING CEREMONY, a high-end select shop from New York, will open its sixth Japanese store, OPENING CEREMONY NAGOYA, on the first and second floors of Nagoya Parco Midi on March 27th.
The store will stock the house brand OPENING CEREMONY and the OPENING CEREMONY Japan Exclusive Line. It will also offer a wide range of apparel, accessories, lifestyle goods, and more from brands such as KENZO, T by ALEXANDER WANG, G.V.G.V., and TOGA.
In addition, to commemorate the opening of Opening Ceremony's Nagoya store, the "Opening Ceremony Japan Exclusive Line" will be releasing limited edition items such as T-shirts (7,900 yen), pants (17,000 yen), gold and silver tote bags (4,000 yen), and pouches (2,500 yen). A special collection called "RECONSTRUCTION OF VINTAGE" will also be available, featuring one-of-a-kind items.
In addition, dresses and necklaces from "TOGA ARCHIVES for OPENING CEREMONY" will be sold in advance. Items such as the bunny lace cap, a product of London hat brand "BERNSTOCK SPEIRS" available exclusively at Opening Ceremony, will also be available. Customers who spend over 15,000 yen will receive a limited edition original tote bag as a gift.
The museum has also collaborated with BACH, led by book director Masataka Haba, who has worked on the creation of libraries for the National Art Center, Tokyo's SOUVENIR FROM TOKYO and Brooklyn Parlor. It also features a space called CULTURE LAB, which proposes a fusion of music, art, and fashion. When it first opened, it stocked books, CDs, records, and more, with a theme of "1990-1999."
