A one-year anniversary event for COOL JAPAN on Google+ will be held in collaboration with the project and Fujifilm.
COOL JAPAN on Google+ is a project that promotes "Japanese coolness" to the world through fashion, design, and more. This time, "Fujifilm meets COOL JAPAN on Google+ 'Japanese Cherry Blossoms to the World'" focuses on cherry blossoms, a symbol of Japanese beauty. By accepting cherry blossom photos from across Japan, we hope to promote Japanese beauty to an international audience.
Submissions are open from March 19th to May 17th. To enter, post a photo and related comment to the social media platform "Google+" with the hashtags "#fujisakura, #cooljapan." The photo will then be automatically uploaded to the campaign's official website (http://www.google.co.jp/campaigns/cooljapan/sakura/). Anyone, professional or amateur, regardless of nationality, can participate.
The photo you submit must feature Japanese cherry blossoms as the main subject. The winning works will be selected by the secretariat, printed, and exhibited in the event space on the 9th floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.
