A contemporary yet elegant design
Following the introduction of the exceptional meteorite dial accentuated in pink gold in 2020, Louis Vuitton is introducing two new Escale Spin Time watches in monochrome and colored steel. A first for this popular collection, this unique all-steel design with a polished black PVD coating complements a contemporary yet elegant lifestyle.
Inspired by Louis Vuitton's heritage as a trunk maker and packer, the Escale Spin Time celebrates the Maison's DNA and the essence of travel, incorporating trunk details into its design. Like a bespoke trunk conceived to protect its contents, this timepiece's precious and instantly recognizable case reinterprets some of Louis Vuitton's signature elements, such as the lugs, which are inspired by the metal fittings reinforcing the corners of iconic trunks.
The 41mm Escale Spin Time has established a new identity. Rooted in the spirit of the era, this model retains the original mixed-media design while combining the modernity of steel with the depth of black PVD. A unique contrast that evokes both elegance and architectural sophistication.

At the heart of this timepiece lies a remarkable mechanism. Crafted by the master watchmakers at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the patented "Spin Time" caliber was first unveiled in 2009. As its name suggests, it displays the hours through rotating cubes, a distinctively modern approach to timekeeping. Instead of a central hand, 12 rotating cubes surround the edge of the dial to indicate the passage of time. Eleven of the twelve cubes display the iconic motif inspired by customized Louis Vuitton trunks, while the twelfth clearly indicates the time with numerals. The extraordinary mechanism of the automatic movement, Caliber LV77, inside this watch embodies a unique and innovative concept that is both technically outstanding and playful.

Although the two versions have distinctly different dials, they share the same movement and the 12 letters "LOUIS VUITTON" on the flange. The latter is considered the face of the watch, giving each model a unique look.
Black with standout colors
The Escale Spin Time Steel Rainbow features 12 rotating cubes with colorful finishes against a sun-brushed black dial, highlighting details reminiscent of Louis Vuitton trunks from the 19th century, which were customized with geometric motifs such as colorful lines, initials and coats of arms.
Shades of gray
The Escale Spin Time Steel Gray features 12 cubes set against a sun-brushed gray metallic ruthenium dial. In this model, each element is composed of three colors: black, gray and white, creating a more contemporary monochrome look.
Each new "Escale Spin Time Steel" embodies the Maison's unparalleled presence by adding a modern twist to creativity, tradition and savoir-faire (artisanal skills).
