To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Japanese furniture label E&Y, the exhibition "evergreen" will be held at Axis Gallery in Roppongi, Tokyo, from December 12th to 20th.

E&Y has created original furniture in collaboration with leading designers such as Tom Dixon, Michael Young, and Richard Hatten. Some of the more than 50 pieces in their collection are housed in museums such as MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York), the London Design Museum, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and the Swedish National Museum.

In addition to displaying and screening videos of representative works carefully selected from the current collection of approximately 70 pieces, the exhibition will also unveil new works from the "edition HORIZONTAL multiple collection line," which was launched in 2010 and was unveiled at the Design Museum in London in September of this year.

In addition, from 4pm to 6pm on December 20th at Symposia on the gallery's basement floor, a participatory talk event will be held to discuss the future of design, with Matsuzawa Tsuyoshi, CEO of E&Y, who has produced events such as "SHOWCASE" and "DESIGNTIDE TOKYO", Tachikawa Eisuke of Nozainer, Yamazaki Yasushi, Editor-in-Chief of JDN/Toryumon, Yamanaka Kazuhiro, Associate Professor at Musashino Art University, journalists, and students studying abroad. The event is limited to 40 people and participation is free.

The designers whose works will be exhibited at the exhibition are as follows: Featuring Max Lamb, Sosuke Nakabo, Fumikazu Ohara, Asako Shiroki, Yuri Suzuki, Nina Tolstrup and Jack Mama, and Faye Toogood.
