Yohji Yamamoto will begin selling the first collection of its new line, "B Yohji Yamamoto," at Yohji Yamamoto shops nationwide, including the Isetan Shinjuku store, on June 10th. The "B" in the brand name, B Yohji Yamamoto, stands for "Black," "Big Silhouette," and "B-side." The brand offers simple, unisex, and sporty everyday clothing that expresses a new side of Yohji Yamamoto for modern women. The first season's 16-17 AW collection features casual pieces that are easy to incorporate into everyday outfits, such as a short-length blouson made from vintage boa fabric, an oversized coat with white stitching, and a relaxed-fit graphic T-shirt. The color palette is black, navy, and ecru. The collection will also be available for pre-sale at a limited-time shop in Promotion Space 31 on the third floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store from June 8th to 14th.
