On July 16th, Gucci will release a limited edition capsule collection of men's wear designed especially for Dover Street Market.
Gucci opened a shop-in-shop at Dover Street Market in Ginza, Tokyo in July 2015, and has since opened shop-in-shops within Dover Street Markets in New York, London, and Beijing. The collection being released this time consists of four limited edition items that can only be purchased at Dover Street Market. The collection includes four items: a cotton crew neck knit (180,000 yen) with lettering on the front and wood motif embroidery on the back; checked loose pants (95,000 yen); a checked flannel overshirt with a rabbit patch on the back (155,000 yen); and a denim jacket (415,000 yen) lavishly decorated with patchwork, embroidery, and studs. Each motif is inspired by the world of "Gucci Garden," which is inspired by flowers and animals. Additionally, as a special mark, the Gucci tags sewn onto the collection items are red instead of the usual white. The items will be available exclusively at Dover Street Market Ginza, London, New York, and Beijing stores, with the Ginza store launch scheduled for July 16th.
