DIET BUTCHER SLIM SKIN's SS15 collection. This season's lookbook and exhibition were produced with the help of Emi Shinozaki of edenworks for floral arrangements.

Shinozaki's unique plant-based artworks are combined with DIET BUTCHER SLIM SKIN's clothing, which exudes a sense of fantasy. The collection's theme for the season is "Utopia," a place that doesn't exist, a paradise. Designer Hisashi Fukatami says he was "heavily inspired by a live jazz performance he heard at a club." This inspiration is evident in saxophone motifs and glitter-encrusted materials. The designer's favorite colors, blue and rose, are also used throughout.

One of the defining elements of this season's look is the collaboration with floral art. Shinozaki, who designed the floral arrangements for this collection, said, "'UTOPIA' is a very vague term, and people interpret it in different ways, so it took me several days to digest it." It was a well-thought-out endeavor. "I found it difficult to understand what designer Fukatami was trying to convey, but at the same time, I was excited. After several days of agonizing, my answer to 'UTOPIA' was 'an ideal that doesn't exist.' I realized that pursuing this is also the theme of my own creations, and that's why I was so excited. What I valued most in this collaboration was 'never completing it,' because 'UTOPIA' will evolve. If I ever have the opportunity to unveil it again in the future, I would like to express a different ideal (i.e., utopia)." She spoke of her own unique theory of utopia. The look offers a utopian worldview woven together by the collection and plants.
