A new TED BAKER store will open at Shinjuku Takashimaya on March 12th. To commemorate the opening, a men's tablet case (23,250 yen) and a women's handbag (30,250 yen) in colors exclusive to the store will be released.

The TED BAKER Shinjuku Takashimaya store is the third store in Japan, following the Omotesando store in March 2012 and the Tokyu Main Store in February 2013. The men's tablet case (23,250 yen) and handbag (30,250 yen) commemorating the opening feature vibrantly printed linings.

The design theme of the store is "tangram (a puzzle board)." This specially made tangram features panel pieces with various surface finishes, including brass, bronze, smoked mirror, smoked birch, and veneer, set into a pale grey frame, and by removing some of the pieces, the background graphic (a London landscape made of chess and puzzles) can be effectively revealed.
