A special event celebrating the 20th anniversary of FENDI's iconic Selleria bag series has begun at the Isetan Shinjuku store. It will run until March 4th at The Stage on the first floor of the store.
The venue features a wide selection of spring-like Selleria bags, including a yellow collection exclusive to Japan, displayed on fixtures wrapped in blue leather. Craftsmen from Florence have come to Japan for the event to demonstrate the bag-making process. A short film, "Adele's Dream," featuring the best-selling Adele bag will also be screened. The event allows visitors to fully appreciate FENDI's craftsmanship. The limited-edition "Adele 723" (¥342,300), "Baguette 635" (¥263,550), "Carla 454" (¥263,550), and "Anna 1013" (¥321,300) feature a yellow exterior and gray lining, while the "Peekaboo 1522" (¥483,000) features a gray exterior and yellow lining. Wallets, card cases, and key cases are also available. The "Anna" handle is available separately in two materials: mink (¥37,800) and shearling (¥25,200), with artisan installation services available. Also available is the "Adele 1328" (¥779,100) in red and white intrecciato.
"Selleria" bags are made entirely by hand using the finest calf leather, "Cuoio Roma." A silver plate with a serial number is attached inside. The numbers in the item names refer to the number of hand stitches applied to each bag.
The "Selleria" Japan-exclusive color series will be sold at Kotokoto Stage 11 of Hankyu Department Store Osaka Umeda Main Branch from March 5th to 11th, at the Fendi boutique on the 3rd floor of JR Nagoya Takashimaya on March 12th, and at the Fendi boutique on the 3rd floor of the main building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Branch on March 26th. It will be available in boutiques nationwide in due course.
