Rick Owens' Aoyama flagship store will undergo a renovation on January 2, 2015. This is the first renovation since the store opened in 2009.

The new store will feature exposed concrete floors and two side tables from the Bronze furniture series. Similar to the Palais Royal store in Paris, floor-to-ceiling shelving will be installed, displaying shoes, bags, and leather accessories.

To commemorate the renovation, the Aoyama flagship store will also release exclusive shoes on the 2nd. Three types will be available: the stylish "WOMENS CLASSIC WEDGE BOOT" (261,000 yen), the classic laceless leather sneaker "WOMENS GEO BASKET" (161,000 yen), and the "MENS GEO BASKET" (150,000 yen).

The Aoyama flagship store will be closed from December 26 to January 1 for renovations.
