The only person who understands him is Leah (Kristen Stewart), who, like him, has emotions but hides them. Love eventually blossoms between the two, and the story moves toward its climax. Director Drake, who attended the press conference, commented, "It's been three years of preparation for this film, so it feels like a dream to have finally started filming. While we're waiting for filming to begin, I've been enjoying sightseeing in Tokyo with the other two cast members." Kristen Stewart added, "Director Drake values the process. We've been working together to build our spirits, so we're ready to go." When asked about his role, he replied, "In life, emotions often get in the way or you have to hide your feelings. In that sense, I can empathize with the main character in this film."
