Ramens Kobayashi Kentaro's art exhibition held at Aoyama Spiral

Aug 7, 2014

The "Artworks by Kobayashi Kentaro for Sketches and Theater" exhibition will be held at Spiral Garden in Aoyama, Tokyo, from September 19th to October 5th. Kobayashi Kentaro is an active playwright and performing artist, primarily known for his work with the Ramens. This exhibition will showcase a variety of Kobayashi's stage-making works, including stage sets, paintings, and props. The venue will also feature a "dressing room" displaying costumes designed and actually worn by Kobayashi himself. This will allow visitors to enjoy the process of creating Kobayashi's stage works. Kobayashi was born in 1973. After graduating from Tama Art University, he began working primarily in theater in 1996 with Jin Katagiri in the comedy group "Ramens," the theater project "K.K.P," and the solo performance "Potsunen." He continues to captivate many audiences with his skillfully woven words and movements, and stage design that makes the most of the minimalist stage design.
