Manga artist Nagao Kenichiro's first solo exhibition, "Cream Soda City," will be held at ROCKET in Harajuku, Tokyo, from August 15th.

The exhibition will feature approximately 40 works, including paintings that evoke the end of the manga and its sequel, based on the unfinished work "Cream Soda City," which ended its serialization in May. A cream soda specialty store, "CREAM SODA CITY PARLOUR," will also open for a limited time, offering a variety of cream soda flavors inspired by "paradise."

From 7pm on the 16th, an unpredictable special conversation between illustrator Uno Akira and Nagao, titled "Let's Talk About the Devil," will be held at VACANT in Harajuku. On the 17th, from 6pm, writer and manga artist Kobayashi Erika will be inviting us to a talk show and a drinks brewing party/snack bar called "New Yanchahime," and on the 18th, from 6pm, Rocket will be hosting Nagao's hospitality snack bar "Ken-chan Bar (Ken-chan BAR)."

Nagao has published comics such as "Galaxy Ginga," which was selected as a recommended work for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Japan Media Arts Festival, "Oshare Techo," and "Ban-san to Hikoichi." He also contributed to the screenplay for the film "Yume Tenya," and works as a VJ at clubs, live shows, and more.
