Giorgio Armani Beauty opens in Ginza, its second store in Japan

Aug 29, 2014

Giorgio Armani has opened a Giorgio Armani Beauty cosmetics corner on the first floor of Armani Ginza Tower (5-5-4 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo). This is the brand's first store within a flagship store in Japan, and its second after the Isetan Shinjuku store.

Giorgio Armani Beauty offers items with textures similar to clothing fabrics, such as velvet and flannel, and proposes makeup that can be changed to match the texture and color of clothing. By displaying cosmetics alongside the brand's clothing and bags in the flagship store, the aim is to create a corner that allows customers to experience the brand's style and philosophy through proposals for total coordination of Armani fashion and makeup.

A carefully selected selection of the brand's best-selling items are displayed against a black backdrop. Among the products, the best-selling "Maestro Foundation," which has won numerous cosmetic awards, is renowned for its light, smooth texture and natural-looking finish, making it a favorite among makeup artists and other beauty professionals. Popular lip products are available in three different textures. These include "Rouge Ecstasy," which provides rich color while caring for lips with its moisturizing ingredients like a lip balm; "Rouge Maestro," a new liquid lipstick with a matte texture and vibrant color; and "Rouge d'Armani Sheer," which offers translucent, lustrous color. The most popular color is the elegant, deep red shade "#400 Armani Red," which is shared across all items. The "Eyes to Kill Palette," a four-color eyeshadow palette that creates Armani's signature cool gradient eye look, is also popular. All of the colors are smoky shades inspired by nature, such as the Mediterranean, and are known for their natural blending. To commemorate the opening, a limited edition kit (19,500 yen) containing three star cosmetics (Maestro Foundation/Rouge Ecstasy/Eyes to Kill Palette), an original vanity case with a gold logo charm, and a miniature version of the fragrance "See" is currently on sale, with only 100 available.
