Motorcycle Girls

Goobike

Starting today, we will be serializing the "Motorcycle Girls Project" for approximately three months to promote female motorcyclists in Japan.

This may be a bit sudden, but have any of our readers ever ridden a motorcycle?
I'm sure the answer is "NO" for most of you.

Right! That's why, through this blog and Facebook, we'll be sharing the experiences of motorcycle girls and introducing basic motorcycle knowledge and fashion in an easy-to-understand way, even for beginners.

Themes include "The struggles of two women to get their motorcycle licenses," "Recommended outfits for motorcycle girls," and "Recommended spots to go on a motorcycle trip."

But before that, we'd like to introduce Hasegawa Aya and Li Yuxiang, the representatives of the "Motorcycle Girls" group who will be taking on this project.

■What are your aspirations?
Li: My best friend started riding a motorcycle, and I thought it was cool, so I got interested in motorcycles. I'll do my best!
Hasegawa: I decided to give it a try simply because I wanted to drive one!
■How old are you?
Lee: I'm the same age as Aya-chan!
Hasegawa: We're both 26 years old (laughs)
■How tall are you?
Lee: I'm 161cm.
Hasegawa: I'm 152cm.
■What's your background?
Lee: I'm in a lot of magazines, I guess? I've appeared in CanCam and ViVi.
Hasegawa: I'm in magazines too! And I'm on TV too!
You two are so positive about riding motorcycles, it looks like things are going to be fun from now on!
Why not make girls look cool when they ride motorcycles too! ?
Next time, we'll introduce individual interviews with the two female bikers.
Please look forward to it!
