
Kering has announced that Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini, will step down at the end of February 2015. Giannini will step down at the end of February after presenting the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection on February 25, 2015. The brand's new creative director will be announced at a later date. Giannini has been with Kering and Gucci for over 12 years. She joined Gucci in 2002 and became leather goods design director in 2004. She was also appointed creative director for womenswear in 2005, and became overall creative director in 2006. Gucci's CEO, Patrizio Di Marco, will also step down on January 1, 2015. Marco Bizzarri, CEO of Kering's Luxury Couture & Leather Goods division, will take over as the new CEO.
