FACETASM, created by Hiromichi Ochiai, held a show for its Fall/Winter 2017-18 men's collection at a showroom near Place de la Bastille. The collection was titled "good morning." Ochiai created this season's collection by embracing his upbringing in Tokyo, a city that embraces diverse identities regardless of religion or class and is open to new cultures. Focusing on the meaninglessness of divisions and conflicts in modern times, the collection expressed this through three skin tones: pale pink, earth tones, and beige. Each piece was oversized, centering on streetwear and workwear. The brand's signature blend of styles was still present, with pieces like an oversized Aran knit with Rasta-inspired blade appliqués and a top that resembled a shirt and jacket layered on top.
However, dressier items were also occasionally included, such as a velvet bathrobe-style jacket, a shawl-collar jacket with satin trimming, and for women, a dress with opera buttons and a velvet patchwork skirt, showing a wide range of creations. Items with a morning glory print, which is also linked to the collection title, were also an effective accent.
