
From March 1st to 7th, the Shinjuku Isetan Main Building 5th floor Art Gallery will be hosting "Penguins in All Forms II," an exhibition showcasing 100 original penguin drawings by illustrator Chiharu Sakazaki.
Sakazaki Chiharu is the creator of JR East's IC card character, "Suica Penguin," and this will be his second exhibition since 2015, combining "living creatures + penguins." The exhibition will also feature "Penguins in All Ten Forms," depicting adorable flocks.
This exhibition and sale will feature 100 original drawings from "Penguins in All Forms II" (25,000 yen each), 10 original drawings from "Penguins in All Ten Forms" (200,000 yen each), as well as merchandise such as 10 small plates and 10 free cups by Sakazaki Chiharu, a "Penguins in All Forms I" letterpress art card book (set of 100, autographed and editioned), two types of towels by Sakazaki Chiharu made in Imabari, and a new print "Art Panel Collection."
In addition, Sakazaki will be visiting the store for a signing session from 2pm to 5pm on March 5th, and numbered tickets will be distributed to the first 100 people who purchase a work after the 1st.
