CHANEL has released the advertising visuals for its Spring/Summer 2017 eyewear collection. The star of this campaign is Lottie Moss, who also walked the runway at the 2016-17 Métiers d'Art Paris Cosmopolite collection. The sister of supermodel Kate Moss, she joins Lily-Rose Depp and Willow Smith as the brand's eyewear muse. Karl Lagerfeld captures Lottie Moss's fresh charm. With her hair held back in two buns featuring the house's iconic camellia motif, she strikes a coquettish expression against a peach-pink backdrop. She wears a delicate crepe-georgette dress, and her blue eyes are accentuated by transparent acetate Pantos optical frames. The butterfly-framed eyewear, with 18K yellow gold lenses and black lace, gives her a seductive look like Catwoman. The cut of her red blouse, with her shoulders peeking out and the round, Lolita-style eyewear, is reminiscent of the hippie style of the 1960s.
This collection is inspired by the "Chanel Data Center" collection unveiled in the Spring/Summer 2017 ready-to-wear collection. A new campaign featuring Lottie Moss wearing futuristic eyewear will be launched in April.
